Been hunting the Montana backcountry for 30+ yrs. Used to pride myself on roughing it w/ minimal gear. Getting older made me reconsider that approach. Invested in the RBM Cube hot tent + stove package last season. Should've done this years ago. First impression: built tough. Not like those flimsy ultralight tents that tear if you look at 'em wrong. Took it on a 10-day elk hunt in Nov. Temps dropped to single digits. Inside? Comfortable enough to shed layers. Stove design is brilliant - compact but throws serious heat. Perfect for drying gear and cooking simultaneously. Setup requires practice. First attempt took 14 mins. By third setup, down to 6 mins. Square design = no wasted space. Full height throughout = no hunching. Could stand upright to dress/undress. Vestibule area kept boots/gear organized. Withstood 35mph gusts without issue. No condensation problems despite heavy breathing after packing out quarters. Wasn't the cheapest option, but considering the comfort extension and durability, it's paying for itself already. Old hunting partners all ordered their own after seeing mine in action. Enough said.

I've been a cold-weather camper for nearly 15 years, and I can honestly say the RBM Outdoors "UP" hot tent has completely transformed my winter experience. After struggling with traditional canvas hot tents for years (so heavy!), I was skeptical about how well this would perform in serious Colorado mountain conditions. Well, I'm officially a convert! Paired with their compact stove, this setup kept me toasty during a -12°F night last January. The inflatable support system is no gimmick - I had the entire tent set up in under 8 minutes while my buddy was still fighting with poles on his traditional tent. The fabric quality is exceptional, with no signs of wear after 7 trips this season. Only thing to note is that the stove needs slightly more clearance than indicated in the manual - I'd recommend an extra 2 inches on all sides just to be safe. Overall, this investment has extended my camping season year-round, which was exactly what I was hoping for.
